Serendipitously

in poetry •  5 years ago  (edited)

Let not this day fail
In its effort to afford underwritten
Concepts. Crosses borne crudely
Absolutely

Find new bruising painful ways
To pursue the uncharted; however,
Bad blood denies rebirth.
By no means

Will we turn back toward
Unacknowledged fear. To discern the ambiguity,
Drink down defeat and die
Serendipitously.

Now strive to cease long struggle.
Undeserving, we must forgive all the failures —
Carried burdens dropped and retrieved
Absolution.
