Downpour

See the clouded sheets in the sky;
Pure, colourless yet gloomy;
Like the sounds of shirlings
it gives it's sudden appearance;
No welcome song is sang
but its appearance is felt.

Down down it comes!
Without interference it comes;
With sounds that echoes
as it's horizontal pattern is seen.

See the earth as it has been eaten up!
See the sea dancing to the splashes;
Streets and fields are wallowed;
Men shivers,animals bow;
Until the sky becomes blue again.
