polluted dreams
┈┈┈┈┈∘┈˃̶˂┈∘┈┈┈┈┈
deep and congesting
ribs expand
around
polluted dreams
gasping at
purified moments
when oxygen
tastes like spring
until fallen petals
become part
of the debris
cluttering the air
and lungs collapse
choking on
shallow breaths
of you
