When I first saw you, I was in awe
Shock and awe- I adored you
My eyes and my heart extolled you
The trumpets and snare of my heart played in sweet harmony
But then my thoughts became insecurities
And my originality was my impurity
You seemed so pure and whole to me, and I was neither
My heart raced and raced for you
And your smile, it’s so fucking colorful
I could be color blind and still fall in love with you
My heart blares loudly like cymbals and trumpets do
Butterfly flutters make it all the more uncomfortable
If you don’t mind, I’d like to take you in my space shuttle
And drive you to a music planet that strikes my existence with a big bang
I’m so far gone from my religious origins anyway
If Christ came over to this house, I would have no fruit to offer him
Because he has no desire for the voluptuous fruits you possess
Your untouched gems, of which I intend to take for capital
I swear to God I need endorphins to cope with these copious emotions
The sentiments of my fervor are dedicated solely to your exultation
I get excited with the prospect that you could be my new beginning
All these vibes I feel in my insides is truly quite ridiculous
The way my heart beats, the way my lungs inspire breath
At a rate so striking, nearing hyperventilation- you are the purest form of beautiful
