Every day we see it
This poverty is real
Can you just imagine
How those who struggle feel
Do you think they chose this life
Living barely day to day
Wondering when their meals may come
And for miracles they pray
And even if you struggle too
Worse it could always be
So reach out a hand when you can
To help others that you see
Life's about the living
And the journey to the end
We're all in this together
The angels that God sends
