Blue mockingbird

On to a new day,
and off with the past -
why had my sunshine
left for the stars.

I feel so unlucky,
yet i am to blame:
instead of the sunshine,
i sticked to the rain.

Now time passes me slowly-
though i know I'll be fine.
For when love won't oppose me-
my world would refine!

The stars up above me,
will shine though the fog!
And that's when my prison-
will loose all its locks.
