My feet take me to unsuspected places,

as if they knew where to go,

how to get there,

to remember how they were,

who lived there,

if I loved or hated them,

if they were friends or enemies,

if it was my home or I was passing through there.

.-.-.-.-.-.

My feet take me to unsuspected places,

guiding themselves by the memories of a past life

and with the knowledge of you being there,

you were there,

you will be there.

.-.-.-.-.-.

My feet take me to the middle point

of stone and sand roads

were we crossed our eyes once

in the caravans from Istanbul to Samarkand.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.

There were you are,

hence my feet carry me

in the middle of the oceans of time.

.-.-.-.-.-.
