Today I am reading On Turning Ten by Billy Collins.
Collins is known for witty and quirky writing, and its the humor in poems like Another Reason I Don't Keep a Gun in the House that has made me a fan of his.
He served as the U.S. Poet Laureate back in 2002, and Collins published numerous collections of poetry along with working on projects like Poetry 180, which lists a new poem to read for every day of the school year.
