Poetry Corner: Bang

in poetrycorner •  7 years ago

I soar so fast, no one can see,
Off to my gruesome demise.
But if I must go, then so should you,
So first I'll take out your eyes.

As I go, I see my friend's work,
He had taken your leg.
And the one before that, he took your arm,
Leaving you bleeding you hag.

But my friend there, the one which uses me,
He really isn't so bad.
But when you hurt him, and made him cry,
It just made him so mad.

You should not have done that, broke his heart,
That was a dumb thing to do.
And now he will get his rightful revenge,
And you only stare without a clue.

And so I reach the end of my journey,
I will not, I can not cry.
I know I mean nothing to him,
But all the same, I would love to see you die.

Fell me dig in, let me under your skin,
That's all you can do now.
And you still stare in wonder,
Ignorant as to how.

You may think we're heartless, maybe even cruel,
But now I am to die.
So I'll make this short, I hear my friend coming,
And I'm sick from hearing you cry.

Do not toy with hearts, those of boys or men,
Because you never know,
That man could have been great, but if he isn't,
Maybe a hole he'll blow.

Bang.
