Death for Hire (Poetry Dice 3000 - Week 10)

in poetrydice •  7 years ago

Hey guys if you are new to this challenge please check it out HERE. It's hosted by the wonderful @robyneggs and it is very fun to see where the dice lead the imagination.

This weeks roll:

Sleeper mercs fight proxy wars in Giza,
Not looking happy, wont try to please ya.
Stomping on scarabs, slaughtering the sheeps,
Kill for the high bid and playing for keeps.
When they activate move like lightening,
Death in their gaze, they look so frightening.
The call comes in and it is time to push,
Moving on some T with Afghani Kush.
Re-purposing tools for civilian aid,
Rescue helicopters ready to raid.
Packing parachutes for H.A.L.O. jumping,
Extra clips handy keep bullets dumping.
Vanish over pyramids like magic,
Civilian causalities so tragic.
As long as they get paid, they don't ask why,
Hope it's not you, but someones gonna die.
