OK, I'm not saying "blogging full time is not a real job, go get a real job," if you manage to make it full time as an online content producer, great, I respect you and your accomplishment at being able to live off what is a hobby for most people (such as myself). But I'm sure you also understand the probability of being able to do it full time is just a step or 5 below professional athlete; yes there are people that can do it as a full time job, but more likely than not one won't be able to do it as a full time job. I've seen too many people say "I'm going to be a full time online content creator" and then get no views in the same way many kids say "I'm going to be a pro football player" but the can barely catch a ball. You don't see PewDiePie or James Rolf telling kids "if you want to be like me, just get a capture card and yell at videogames, and then you'll be making money hand over fist," but that's basically what Alex told the class at career day.
