 Today's #pokemonfacts post is about Chansey, a well-known pokemon which appeared in the first generation.

• In the Pokémon Red and Blue beta, Chansey was originally known as "Lucky", which also happens to be its romanized Japanese name.
• Chansey shares its category name with Exeggcute. They are both known as the Egg Pokémon.
• Chansey has the highest base HP of all Pokémon that can evolve.
• Excluding Arceus and Silvally, Chansey and its evolution family have the most in-game items associated with them, with four: the Lucky Punch, Lucky Egg, Luck Incense, and Oval Stone.
• Chansey ties with Happiny for the lowest base Attack and Defense of all Pokémon, both at five.
