Byłeś nam jak Ojciec,
Prowadziłeś nas za rękę
Przez wichry naszego życia .

Czasami groźnie patrzyłeś na nas,
A kiedy indziej z uśmiechem witałeś się z nami,
Porywałeś ludzi do wzniosłych czynów,
Twoje słowa dawały ludziom dużo do myślenia.

Przyszedł dzień kiedy Musiałeś odejść od nas,
Płakakało niebo za Tobą Płakał każdy co żyw.
