The Central Leadership Council (DPP) of Gerindra Party is currently working on 15 names that will become vice presidential candidate (vice president) to assist Prabowo Subianto who will advance in the 2019 presidential election.
"Currently we still think about the names of the vice president," said Gerindra Party Wasekjen.
Gerindra ensures that the general chairman will advance, although so far not officially declared. Prabowo's declaration as presidential candidate will take place in early April 2018.
Andre mentioned several names that entered Prawowo vice president such as PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, President of PKS Sohibul Iman, until former Commander of the TNI General Gatot Nurmantyo.
In addition, there are other names such as former Minister of Coordinating Minister of Marine Affairs Rizal Ramli, West Nusa Tenggara Governor M Zainul Majdi or Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) and former Chairman of the Constitutional Court Mahfud MD.
"Pak Gatot has met Pak Prabowo, Mr. Gatot has entered our radar, similar names like Rizal Ramli, Mahfud MD, Bang Zulkifli, and Sohibul from PKS," he said.
Andre predicts vice presidential figure will strengthen if Prabowo has declared himself.
"The name of this vice president will be discussed again with the certainty of the coalition.So far, most likely Gerindra same PKS again.
