The government is a crazy girlfriend who stresses you out and holds you back. Get rid of her. Yes, she's going to go nuts. Yes, she's scary and will probably try to pull some devious illegal shit. But you know you're wasting your life with her. You know what you have to do.

This will never happen in the United States. The 2-party systems are too embedded in all levels of public life. Comparing the US to a 700 person village to the US is ridiculous.

That's fine for you to think so. I disagree. What we are fighting for is the ability to be able to "secede" or breakaway from the centralized U.S. and left alone to govern ourselves. A world of many different decentralized communities. If some still want to live under the thumb of the u.s. government, than give them that ability. But for us who want different we should be able to as well.

To secede you would eventually have to have decision makers. Will everyone be a decision maker for their own fiefdom? How do all of these decentralized communities you refer to communicate and thrive?
There are way too many examples of despots growing from this ideal of yours.

I didn't say the problem was "Decision makers". We can see one example of a community thriving in Cheran from the second article. And there are other examples. The idea that without government or political parties we would tear each other apart or be taken over by tyrants is simply not a guaranteed fact.
