Are Gods really a Myth or Nerf Herder Aliens from Rigel Seven!
(Steps onto Soap Box)
A subject close to my heart and one that will have me stoned to death by those on both sides of the debate fence. First of all, up front. I am a Christian or more to the point, I believe in an entity called Yehovah, whom is my God (Christianity these days is very far from its true roots so I dislike the word).
I am not here to convert you to Christianity or to any other religion, but to open your mind to a possible reality that could our gods of myth, actually be entities from space, that either seeded this earth with humans or visited early man.
Now please hear me out. Think about it, most of the stories of the majority of the gods is that they come from the sky, stars above or another plane of existence that is above our own. Rarely are they from below (out of the ground or from a plane below us) unless they were cast there in the first place but other gods. And just as rare is if the god was already here on earth and existed at the same time as us humans (creatures, plants or other, of the world).
Now where do aliens come from, 89% of the times they are from space, the sky, somewhere up there. The other 9% are lawyers, solicitors or politicians, mostly because they are in a world of their own! And the rest, they work for GOOGLE.
Just look at any religious holy book, read up on any of the ancient mythologies and even any of the tribal stories. There are common denominators, common anchor point stories between most of them. No matter where in the world the religion or belief is founded or based they all have pieces of the same or similar stories. Now most of you who are devout to your religion or belief are jumping up and down, wanting my head on a spike. You are screaming at your monitor saying “My god/s is the supreme god/s they are not aliens!” And over on the other side of the fence is the atheist saying “Well there you go, if aliens are gods, then they are murderous, masochistic, narcissist, racist ass holes. Just look at the shit they put in their books/laws.”
For both of you the answer is going to be the same. Humans invented Religion, NOT the Aliens. For the religious, it is Pastor/Priest/Elder and your religion that has made these people into gods, because early man did not understand the technology that these people possessed, they did not understand the science the aliens tried to explain to them. To early man, it all was hocus pocus. A good example; Look at when the Spanish first invaded South America, the indigenous people though they were gods because the technology and science that the Spanish brought with them was too complex for them to grasp. So a form of religion and worship was built up around the Spanish invaders.
To the non-believers of religion, there are men and women who wanted control, they did not want to understand the Aliens original philosophies, they just saw control and power and they invented laws and rituals to keep them in the position of power. They made people commit those laws and rituals to their hearts and minds, more than the actual base philosophy, through fear and hate. Just look at our own recent history of men like Pol Pot, David Koresh and Hitler just to name a few.
To me, now as we humans peruse science and all of its discoveries as well as with the imaginations of science fiction, most of the hocus pocus actually makes sense. Like for example in the Christian bible in Genesis it states that man was formed from water and dirt of the earth to make a clay image that would become man. Early man knew well enough that mixing water and earth would create certain products once dried (Bricks, simple pottery, etc). The Aliens knew this too and used it as an analogy to explain a science that only now, we have comprehended. That we are predominantly made of water and every element of the earth can be found in us (that includes Gold and Plutonium) and mixed together makes every living thing on this planet (Yes the bible said that the animals formed out of the earth but I think someone summarised the same process till it got to the good part about humans).
In other parts of the bible, other religions and folklore are other nuggets of scientific truth, liberally bathed in early human misunderstandings and limited education, that they have become unbelievable myths or unfathomable laws. Another example is where men were asked by the aliens not to sleep or touch a woman so many days/weeks after giving birth to a child. Scientifically and medically we now know that this is for the best for the woman’s body to recover from the trauma of birthing. Unfortunately some ass hole priest or person took it a step too far and added in that it was a woman’s shameful sin and wanted to gouge the people for money or other goods!
So please sleep or meditate on my words, look to the words in religious texts and mythology and start thinking on a scientific level, if science or medical science can be applied to the words and back it up, then there is a good chance it came from the aliens. But if science or medical science do not back it up, then it was made up by some egotistical maniac human, hell bent on control. So I pose the question again, are gods really a myth or are they really Nerf Herder Aliens from Rigel Seven?!

I ve heard this theory many times, especially it was popularized by the ancient aliens series but to be honest for me it is highly unlikely to be true. If you follow how religions developed you ll notice the evolution and branching of so called religions of fear and religions of morale. You say religions have same anchor stories, exactly the proof of evolution. Interesting post by the way, I ve read couple of your posts, you have a good style
