In case people don't get this, libertarianism isn't necessarily "soft on crime" or against removing offenders from society.
Really, it's about property rights. We also regard your body as your property. We tend to be the strongest of any philosophical group in regard to standing by the idea that, if somebody tries to take from you, particularly your body, you have the right to shoot that person.
It's odd that so many people think that I'm breaking my libertarian views by calling for the removal of Alvin Bragg and Kim Foxx. These are people who embody what Frank Zappa said about America being a nation of laws, badly written and randomly enforced.
I'm not saying that I would fire Kim Foxx as DA and instate Joe Arpaio as sheriff. I don't want any of these fucking people with human lives in their hands.
But, yeah, between "tough on crime" and "soft on crime" there's being right.
If you're a rapist, or a murderer, or you've been stealing cars and endangering lives, you should go to prison. If you've got a problem with drugs, you should go to rehab.
This isn't that freaking hard, people.
