The norwiegan election

Well the norwiegan election is over and it's clear the paradigm shift has finaly hit norway. and that is shown by looking at the losers. the right winged parties had almost no losses despite being in goverment. and it was the left wing parties that did poorly.
labour still the biggest party out there of course. but they are now just barely as big as the conservatives. and the christian people's party just barely managed to eek out a mandate. the centrum party which has always been a party focused around the districts and farmes did it rather well. and red managed to get some people in the parlament. so why do this mean the pardigme shift has happened? that is because for up until now labour has been having a solid base of support. that support has moved to the progress party or to the greens or the reds a communist party. which is strengthens those group being more to the left or the right then the center. ironicaly a party calling themselves the center party did good by appealing to those that would usaly vote conseratives or progress. but when they started showing signs to wanna support the labour party who some claim are no longer focused on the ideas of the norway people. that support started disapearing they still did good and maybe they may do it better next time.

Now here is a funny little thing with labour they are saying they will try identify the issues that made them do so poorly. and it looks like they haven't realised anything. they are attacking the media that was actually supporting them by namecalling and declearing progress and the conservatives as racists to no avail. Maybe they should talk to the bernie supportes and learn that name calling no longer work. especially in norway where that particulare card has been used by the samis so long. heck there is a joke about this by otto jespersen a controversial and liked norwiegan comedian. Also a similartie more between the american democrats and norwigan labour is that they spent more time namecalling and less about how they would be a better choice for a new goverment. they drove a traditional campaign that was like ten years out of date and some of the things they did was rather insulting to the voters. like sending out 500 thousand sms to random nowiegan people to get them to vote. ending up sending some to politicans and family members of the progress party.

they where made a laughing stock online through memetics which seems to show by facebook stats that progress and the conservatives have a better reach online then the other parties combined. of course they didn't get equal amount of votes. but if take in mind who is using facebook and it's mostly the young well that says something.

So i think that unless labour changes platform something fast that they may do it even worse by next election and that means room for alot of our newer parties. heck that is also a sign of the times we never had such a big influx of new parties as we got now. some are even farther to the right then what we got. some are even farther to the left heck we got a feminist party. a honest to god ffeminist party of course i dont' think they got many votes and i can't wait to see them crushed in political debates
