As I see multiple reports of a student walk out to protest guns I have several questions. Why are we not questioning and protesting local Broward County officials, FBI, and police enforcement. These local Law Enforcement, FBI, and Officials let their local community down by accepting the Promise program and ignoring several reports of multiple felonies. The Promise Program is basically is a way of putting a price on these kids heads. The local Law Enforcement, and Officials sold these kids for grant money and the death of these 17 kids falls squarely on their shoulders. Previously to the shooting Nicolas Cruz brought knives and bullets to school and made terrorist threats on you tube which was reported to the FBI twice. Local Law Enforcement made 39 visits to Nicolas Cruz but never once arrested him. If just one of these people in position of power would’ve thought of putting the students interest first this would’ve never happened. Instead all they thought about was lining their pockets with the almighty dollar and in turn allowing a monster to kill 17 children! This individual would’ve been in jail or would’ve been declined a gun by current background checks currently in place if they would've done their job. So, now as these kids go off to protest gun laws with no one making them aware of actual facts of whom let down because they would have to look in the mirror.
So lets say we pass gun laws your telling me you want the above people to have all the guns. Sounds like a good idea after there exceptional decision making on these kids behalf. A tweak to the guidelines surrounding mental health and background checks yes. Outlawing parts that make certain guns automatic yes. But making the above people that sold out these children the only ones with the guns that’s true insanity.

The Promise Program
The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), in collaboration with the Broward County School District (BCSD), had ordered their deputies not to arrest juveniles for a variety of crimes in order to artificially reduce their statistics and qualify for lucrative state and federal grants. Which turned into $54 million through putting a dollar amount on these kids head.
You see, in 2011 into 2012 school year, Broward had the highest public school related arrest record in the state. More than 1,000 kids in that year alone were arrested.
So, school administrators were basically paid to deal with student crime in-house and keep the cops off the premises.
Had Nicolas Cruz been arrested or charged by police for bringing knives or bullets to school or for other various infractions, threats and so forth, he might not have been able to buy that gun he used to kill 17 people.
