M. Saakashvili is preparing to return to Ukraine.
Ex-president of Georgia and Ex-Governor of Odessa region, Mikhail Saakashvili plans to go back to the country that deported him not too long ago.
"I am preparing to return to Ukraine; Ukrainian students should prepare for my return to Ukraine," the politician said on NewsOne on Friday, March 30.
On February 12, Saakashvili was detained in Kyiv and later was deported to Warsaw, as he was in the country illegally, having had his Ukrainian citizenship stripped by President Poroshenko.
Saakashvili moved to Netherlands and received the Dutch ID card.
Saakashvili is presently travelling through Europe on a mission for tourism education. "Several meetings are planned in the next few days. In a couple of days I will meet with a large group of Ukrainians who study at European tourist institutes. We gather students from several tourism educational institutions across Europe. We are transporting them to one place with the help of the Ukrainian diaspora, and we will hold a seminar on the prospects of tourism in Ukraine with them," the politician said.
