When Colorado and Maine took Trump off the ballot for their states' primaries two things happened in my mind: I said that there is no way that this is going to stand and I also said that some blowhard Republicans were going to end up filing similar lawsuits against their political opponents.
This is all just political posturing and a way to get one's name in the news and of course, it too will not stand. I knew it was going to happen though and it is just a waste of time for the courts because all of these suits are stupid and will be thrown out. I've not had much to do with politics in my life because I honestly don't believe that any national representative, regardless of what letters they have next to their name, have ever had any meaningful impact on the bad direction the United States has been going in since the late 70's. Things have just become so childish that I think most people are just sick and tired of politics in a general sense.

Bill Eigel isn't just a strange looking fellow who reminds me of "Biff" from Back to the Future, but he is also a Missouri State Senator. He is proposing legislation to have Biden removed from the 2024 ballot for similarly dumb reasons that Colorado and Maine put forth to have Trump removed.
I'm sure that Bill really believes that this is going to work (It wont) and that it has nothing to do with the fact that he is currently fishing for free publicity while he is running for governor.
Unfortunately for Eigel, simply doing a search for his name now exposes several things about him that he would probably rather keep a secret such as this hit piece that was done on him. I don't know much about the guy and I don't live in Missouri so I don't even have an opinion about him. What I do know is that his proposed legislation will be shot down and he likely knows that this is the case even before he filed it. This clown and other representatives all around the country are wasting taxpayer time and money on silly and petty games that they know will go nowhere all in an effort to put themselves in the spotlight and propel their own careers.
I really don't believe that there are many elected officials out there that genuinely give half a damn about their supporters or really anyone at all other than their family, friends, and political allies. I think it is about time that the people of the US kind of started to realize this and stop participating in the two-party slap-fight that is only getting worse with time.
I'd bet my house that by the time the elections actually happen that both Trump and Biden are on all the ballots in all 50 states, then the states are going to vote like they always do, then their will be accusations by whoever loses that there was election fraud... Yawn..... It will be fun to watch but not at all surprising when it happens.
I just love seeing politicians going at it.

This is why 2024 is going to be so entertaining. The gloves are going to come off again. While I find it wildly entertaining it is a bit sad since I know that none of this is going to amount to anything really.

Fraud accusations are pretty common coming from Dems (W, Trump). Somehow, THIS is not election denial
