"My Interpretation On The Terrorist Attacks of September 11"

in politics •  7 years ago  (edited)

" After September 11, the eye to look at the Muslims of the world has undergone a great change". This is what was said by a hero in the movie "Anwar". This sentence is a merely a piece of dialogue but when you analyze the words deeply, they carry a great meaning. The situation has become severe that when we say Muslims now, the only thoughts that strike our head is suicide bombers and the AI Qaeda or Bin Laden. My confusion does not lie in the situation but what I want to know is " Why we are dividing the world in the name of religion? No doubt, the Muslims top the list of being suicide bombers but that does not mean all the Muslims are suicide bombers or terrorists.

A few days ago, I was scrolling the channels on TV soon my eyes got stuck on the Discovery Channel. They were dramatizing the September 11th incident. While watching the video, I could see the keen hatred in the eyes of suicide bombers. Although it was the charismatic works of the actors, I could feel my nerves rising. I couldn't believed that one is ready to take other's life in the name of religion. I expressed this view to my dad and hearing to it he replied, "Terrorists don't have religion and they do so only for power and money".

If what my dad told is practiced then why after September 11th, the visa to Muslim people for travelling to European countries was controlled or more suitable to say stopped. I am philanthropist and seeing the whole community suffer just because of a person makes me sad.

The negligence of the world has raised the bitterness between the Muslim community and the other communities of the world. I guess the bitterness has a direct influence in the increasing number of suicide bombers.

Whenever the family members of the suicide bombers, are shown, they don't seem to be poignant for the loss of their members but feel proud.

This makes me more puzzled and confused and it is beyond my capacity to find out the root cause of the problems. I am neither a political leader nor a great scholar but from what I've seen. I'm trying to understand the situation.

"The Muslim community has been hidden in the dark and it need to come out and spread its wings" A Muslim woman int the documentary says. Analyzing this view what we could understand is that the Muslim community wanted freedom and love from the world.

Thus, I've come to a conclusion that our views and ideas need to change and we must learn to accept the new ideas with as much ease as we do to old ideas. So, let us unite together as human beings and make this place a better place to live. Although terrorism has terrorized the world, there is always a way to terrorized the world, there is always a way to solve it. So let us all unite to wipe out terrorism and make the world a peaceful place to live in.
