I oppose Bernie Sanders on principle

From what I can tell, many Bernie supporters support him because they believe he is the most moral and principled candidate currently running. Unfortunately, it is the opposite.

To begin, his candidacy is based on hatred, just like Trump's. While Trump demonizes illegal immigrants, Sanders demonizes the rich, making it seem as if they don't deserve their success. Attacking the rich simply for creating wealth is unacceptable, as anyone has the right to make as much money as he or she wants as long as it's not stolen or by defrauding others. And no, the rich don't steal from their workers. The workers agreed to the pay that they earn.

Secondly, he believes the government has the right to control what businesses do, from what they pay their workers to who owns how much of the businesses. Overall, he is an authoritarian who believes high taxes and government interference is the solution to almost everything, if not everything. "Democratically" implementing his policies won't change their negative effects on the American economy and the average American's standard of living.

Lastly, he has a flawed entitlement mentality that is one of the cornerstones of his campaign. He promises "free healthcare" as a "human right", when it is neither. The government never provides free things, including healthcare. Taxes pay for it, and not just from the rich.

In addition, just because people need certain products and services, including healthcare, doesn't mean it's a human right. Imagine if you or I could just demand food from farmers for free simply because we need to eat to live. You can apply the same logic to healthcare. If healthcare is supposedly a human right and people are just entitled to it, then why should doctors and hospitals charge anything for their services? The answer is obvious: because it takes time, resources, knowledge and talent to practice medicine and to build functioning hospitals.

However, Sanders and other progressives somehow miss this fact, instead claiming that anyone who wants to be compensated for providing essential products and services like housing and healthcare are just "greedy" and exploiting the needs of others. In reality, they (Sanders and other progressives) are the ones who are greedy for demanding free things that they didn't earn from others.

However, while I oppose Sanders, I also oppose the idea giving anyone political power, not just him. So my solution is not to vote against him, but simply to not vote for him.
