Rights aren't rights if someone can take them away

Huh? What about right to live? Some one might kill me and take it away, so it is not a right but a priviledge? Weird.

Sort Order:

You have the right to defend your life and that of others against murderers aggressors tyrants etc.
(on the other site, you don't have the right to be an murderer, aggressor, tyrant for if you did harm someone who did not harm anyone, that someone has the right to defend him herself against you.)

Rights are action/behavior you can do that does not harm others (that does not go against their consent). Is another way of saying it.

For example not wearing a seat belt is a right (your not harming anyone else). Forcing someone to wear a seat belt and stealing from them if they don't obey your opinion is not a right.

Unfortunately - there isn't anything like "right to live", but there is the "need to live" and everyone needs that ... so fight for it. We have only the rights of physics, mathematics etc. - science laws - and needs: for freedom, for food, shelter and so on.
