The elections in Europe?

in politics •  8 years ago

Hi everyone,

I would like to hear people's opinions on the up-coming elections in Europe, with an emphasis on the Dutch and French elections. As I'm sure you are all aware these are very different from previous elections due to a populist movement which is greatly due to economic and immigration issues around Europe.

I would like to know what you think about the candidates and why you like or dislike them. Please base your arguments on rationality rather than emotions.

The right is probably going to keep gaining ground with issues like islam and the refugee crisis. I´m not sure what it will mean for economic policies, which coincidentally are the only ones I´m interested in.

Yes mate I hear you. Hopefully things will get better in Europe with some new leaders in power.

Netherlands saved from populist right-wing.

Resteemed for you since it would be nice to see some conversation on this topic. I have nothing to say since I'm missing out on politics and last year I was more interested in the US side, plus my own local at that time. So I'm not sure what is going on with Europe and what details I can give :)
