Capitalism Is Cancer: How Capitalism in America = Genocide

in politics •  6 years ago

I find it very difficult to imagine how a self-proclaimed "capitalist" who isn't a rich kid can even exist. The only way I can see this happening is due to brainwashing and ignorance, but a lot of these so-called "capitalists" claim to be well-read, well-educated, and so on and so forth. So, what's the disconnect? How can someone be so smart, and yet, worship a system that by it's very nature is genocidal?

Many people take issue when I say that Capitalism is inherently genocidal and America is current engaging in a genocide, because for most people when they think of genocide, they think of WWII and the holocaust. While, yes, that was a genocide, it was way more in-your-face than generic capitalism is, and especially the way America works.

Let's take a look at what Capitalism is on a basic level.

Boiling it down, it's about making the best product with the least amount of overhead cost and selling it to the most amount of people, I think we can all agree on that, yes? So let's look a little deeper into what these things entail.

Making the "best" product doesn't mean making a product that is objectively fantastic in all facets, all it means is that your product is the most affordable and most usable in that line of products. Something can become "the best" retro-actively as well, especially when the corporations that control distribution, marketing, and outreach decide to squash or buy out their opposition. You see this happening all over the world with Amazon right now. Anything that gets in their way, they either drown out or purchase, all while paying their employees slave wages and fucking with their hours and putting them through unsafe working conditions. Why do they do this? Because it's cheap and affordable.

Labor is just another commodity in the capitalistic economy. How can we buy labor as cheap as possible, while getting the hardest workers? Well, we do that by eliminating the competitors so that people who need to work, have to work for us. Then, once we've cornered the market and got people under our clutches, we begin to cut at them slowly over time, reducing our payouts, keeping the money for ourselves and most of them are none the wiser. My favorite method is to inflate the fiat currency they are paid in, and slowly raise the prices of everything in the entire economy, while keeping their wages the same. So they aren't losing money, their money is just losing value! Cheeky!

So with this in mind, how labor works and what corporations do and how they do it, how does this equate to genocide? Well, easy answer. Not everyone can work. Disabled people, for one example, are often thrown aside as "liabilities" and are limited in their abilities to make ends meet. Combine that with America's lack of freely available healthcare, lack of social safety-nets in general, and continuing monopolistic merges between corporations and the government, and this is how we reach a genocide.

Our current overlords learned a lot from the likes of Hitler. Once you go about breaking down doors and shoveling people into death camps, that's when everyone opens their eyes. What you have to do, instead, is make the entire economic system hostile to specific groups of people, so that, slowly over time, they are bred out of existence.

Let's take a look at an article that I really like, titled: "Seniors Are More Conservative Because the Poor Don’t Survive to Become Seniors".

This Article explains greatly about why you typically see older people, often toted as being "wise", act more "conservatively" (in this sense, not challenging the status quo). The reasons are simple. Poor people don't live as long as wealthier people, on average. It's not that these people "gained wisdom" from their "long journey" of life, it's that all their peers who disagreed are fucking dead and gone. Poor people are just another one of the groups that are being systemically murdered by the state and corporate overlords.

"But, Genocide is the deliberate killing of groups, not just accidental!"
Do you really think that every corporate overlord and politician are just accidentally killing off the people they find useless? Do you really think it's all just an accident? Look at how close our politicians are with corporations and lobbyists. Corporations wouldn't spend all this money on getting people elected if they didn't get anything out of it. Stunting progress, keeping the downtrodden down and keeping the rich and powerful up is what they do. They know that 45,000 people die every year from lack of health insurance, yet they continue to strip away the already shoddy healthcare system we have, and continue to brainwash the American People into believing it's "just not feasible". Well, fuck you, bitch, it's totally feasible. Did you know that F-35 Lightning II project has cost over $1T over 25~ years and still doesn't fucking work? That's over $100M a day being thrown away and wasted to pump up the military industrial complex and to make rich war-hawks get their dicks hard when they kill innocent brown people over seas. And you are telling me I can't have health insurance? Go fuck yourself.

On Top of that, did you know that universal healthcare in America would actually save money? Yeah, that's right. So, the USA steals our tax dollars, spends it on killing machines, while propping up a bloated healthcare industry that restricts access to life-saving surgeries and procedures and medicines, while telling us that we all "can't afford it". And this isn't deliberate?

What do you think we should do about this?

LOL, we have a lot of common friends so I came over to see

What's UP!

Socialist Democracies are also a doomed experiment, I'm afraid... Once they run out of the Capitalist's Money, they will collapse too. But you make good points against "Crony Capitalists". Steemit is founded on the ideas of more Libertarian principles, and hopefully inherent in that we will take care of our own better than the current systems do. This whole world is headed for a Paradigm Shift of EPIC PROPORTIONS, and the future holds much uncertainty.
Great Points though, and being stuck in the current "no-win scenario" is like a rat on a large running wheel, with closed in sides...

Hello there, friend. Who do we both know?

Also, you seem to be very ignorant of what social democrats stand for, because there wouldn't be a lack of money in the system as the system is more optimized and more cost-effective over-all.

Sorry my UV is not working properly, I ran it up and it keeps resetting for 43% which is under 2¢ :-( In a vacuum, a Social Democracy "could work", but that vacuum would also have the absence of Crony Capitalists, human nature and "Entitled for LIFE" Politicians. Hell, just ridding ourselves of the Latter would actually make something like a Social Democracy "feasible", IMHO. We do not have a very good approximation of "democracy" in the USA anyhow.
Not trying to be confrontational, just opening a dialog. Freely exchanging ideas, I know I do not have all the answers, not even close.

Oh, I believe our common friends would be Team Good and I saw you on an @sapphic post iirc. She is our Bot Queen, and resident witness :)

I also have seen "social democracy" seem to work on the smaller scale, I lived in Monroe County, IN for close to 7 years. Those folks are VERY Engaged, and will oust a politician that has violated their trust right quick! LOL

UV? :P

I am more of an advocate for the Denmark, Finland, Iceland, etc style systems. I don't know if they are even possible this late in the game for USA, which is why I do plan on moving to another country in a few years anyway. Those are the ideal places to emulate IMO.

Also, neat! I've been trying to reach out to more like-minded folk on here, so looks like it's going well hehe.

Sounds epic, I'd love to toss a politician out the door and into the bin personally!

UV is "up-vote" ;-)

I need to look at Iceland a little harder, they caught the eye of the "Financial Preppers" when they had that HUGE Election Turn-Over, basically told the Banks that they were just "debt-vendors" and according to the sources I was reading, kicked out the NWO/Rothschild Debt Enslavement in One Fell Swoop!
It's almost like our system has a large parasitic organism attached, which is a shadow government and banking system. "They Say" the "derivatives" are simply owed to "each other" but I'd bet my bottom dollar that the Shadow Banking system is really the note holder on these "financial weapons of mass destruction" as named by Warren Buffett.

Ben and Jerry's (of the ice cream fame) had a tangible physical demonstration of the Social Welfare System budget versus the Military Budget, using Oreo Cookies. The entire Social Welfare budget was represented by maybe a dozen cookies... sounds like a LOT, if you only have one glass of Milk, Right? Well, the boys brought in huge tub of Oreos and said "stop me when U think I have poured out enough cookies" to represent the Military Budget. They EMPTIED the WHOLE DAMN THING! It was like a 3 gallon (or larger) tub. I am a "conservative Libertarian" with a compassionate streak, so right there I know something's out of WHACK. Their point was we could easily DOUBLE the Social Welfare budget and the Military budget wouldn't hardly notice.
My Libertarian side KNOWS we do not need to be the World's COPS and squelch every little conflict. We don't need a world-wide military presence for "Homeland Security"... We make more enemies by our actions than friends, by a long shot it seems. I like the Ron Paul style of "Homeland Security" over what we have today! We prolly have a few points of debate but several that we agree on, too. ;)

I agree with pretty much all of this, tbh. Yeah, the military industrial complex is sickening and everyone involved with it should be hanged IMO.

I don't have much else to add to this conversation, but I do plan on writing more pieces on imperialism and capitalism, as well as social justice. Hopefully we can have more discussions in the future! :)

I popped that pimple that kept showing up on our collective ass ;)
Let the adults talk, children should be Seen and NOT HEARD, Well, in this case neither :P

lmfao, good job :P

Also, we are doing what TPTB do not want us to do, supposedly opposite sides having a rational discussion, and finding points of commonality. ;)
Great to meet you @cyberdemon531 and I need to find out what this Speed Running is...

I can teach you all about it if you stop by my livestream some time...! Tomorrow (24th) I will be doing a speedrun of every Mega Man X Game in a row :D

And yes, rational discussion is great. I appreciate it! I think we agree on most things, though, just maybe some inconsistencies with labels and exact ideals.

Socjalism and communism!!! We are still accepting capitalism cuz we have not got anything better at this moment ;) Im from Poland, the country which was under soviets occupation for 50 years. No products on shops except useless items like boots with 48+ size or vinegar. When supplies arrived aproximately 40 people waited for products with fear that a lot of them could be out of stock when their turn comes

Sorry for my english. Have a nice day and invent a brilliant system to heal this world

I prefer Social Democratic Economies like in Denmark, for example (which is also the happiest country in world). I really hope that the world wakes up to this nightmare we find ourselves in...

There are too much Smart asses on my country :( It wouldn't work well. Western Europę will colapse in few years cuz they are accepting illegal immigrants... This social democratic reign made their countries dangerous.

BTW. Poland wakes up and try to make better future. Any informations about breaking constitution arę prepared by opposition which sold our country to Germany. Have a nice day AnD dont break constitution xD

Here is the study on how universities have been infected with the cancer of socialism that murdered 300 million people in last 100 years:

Here is a study of capitalism, even while oppressed with socialism of a government, reduced the world's suffering and poverty by half in just 8 years, between 2004-2012

https://www.cato.org/economic-freedom-of-the-world-2013

Here some more facts based on studies you missed:
https://mises.org/library/data-clear-free-markets-reduce-poverty

https://mises.org/wire/capitalism-and-free-society-part-1

https://mises.org/library/conquest-poverty

https://mises.org/wire/how-you-dont-cure-poverty

So instead of complaining on governments and trying to create your own, maybe just leave it to freedom to sort it out, since it is the best thing humanity ever had? Free markets resolve every issue so much better than any force, that you can't even compare the data. So less making up stuff and more research, statistics and actual facts? World is much more nuanced than black&white ;)
