Liberals 101

The problem with liberals is multi-faceted, but here are a few of the key ones. Like a Christian who refuses to read anything about the theory of evolution including The Origin of Species, liberals espouse sanctimoniously smug assertions on topics with which they know very little. They more often than not live in a bubble where they talk only with one another, and thus never expose themselves to any opposing views. They are convinced that Rush Limbaugh is a racist, Bill O’Reilly is a jerk, and Michelle Malkin is a crackpot, but ask them for specifics and they cannot provide any because they have NEVER LISTENED to any of them! The lack of intellectual curiosity is a telling and egregious testament to their hubris. The liberal political philosophy can be summarized as “the art of knowing without knowing.”

Secondly, liberals do not have any comprehension of human nature with one exception. They do not realize that handouts simply will be taken for granted and abused, but they do know how to manipulate the American people’s compassion. Entitlements for the poor, go green for the environment, affirmative action, etc. are all designed to appeal to good-hearted nature of Americans, and they know we will willingly fork over tons of our tax dollars to fund liberal causes, which sadly usually end up doing nothing more than placing these concerns in a worse state, but they never want to evaluate the RESULTS or CONSEQUENCES of their ideas or actions.

Thirdly, liberals are hypocrites. While they portray themselves as caring and compassionate, more often than not they are actually short-tempered, intolerant, hate-filled jerks. They will shout you down, try to shut you up, intimidate you, call you names and castigate you, and do everything they can to destroy you on a personal level. Not only do they not want to hear your opinion, they do not want you to be able to express it either. Also, they allow for a pass when Democrat politicians commit the same foibles that Republicans did when they shredded them with mean-spirited rhetoric. The double standard by which they treat their politicians versus ours is stunning.

Fourthly, the left projects onto the right. They accuse the right of lying, distorting facts, taking things out of context, doctoring pictures, etc. because those are precisely the type of tactics they practice with impunity.

Now is the time for the silent majority to stand up and say no more to the tyranny of the minority. We need to tell them that we refuse to allow the clowns to run the circus any longer. If not now, then when?
