United States also has some of the more harsh prisons on the planet.
I don't THINK so.
Actually the opposite is true.

I would suggest it has some of the more harsh prisons in the western world, possibly the most harsh. But to make the claim they're "some of the more harsh on the planet" is straight-up delusional.

Prisoners are not given Internet or if they are it's only email
the HORROR....the horror...

Prisons in a lot of countries are a lot better, countries in Europe, South America, all have better treatment of prisoners in terms of rights. America under the US Constitution actually views prisoners as slaves, and this is not debatable.

Of course you can find some prisons in some parts of the world where prisoners are treated much worse but I didn't say America has "the most harsh" but I said "some of the more harsh". In some other countries prisoners actually have human rights, aren't viewed as slaves, and even receive Internet access.

People are in prison because they broke the rules of society and, when you do that, you don't get to enjoy all of the freedoms of that society so it's probably understandable that you wouldn't get free internet...

Prisoners, by definition, are slaves.
your point?

prisoners ARE slaves..by definiton.
they no longer have any civil rights.
