Or, maybe, they don't want oil in their/your water?
Pipelines leak.

I live in a freight train town, are you aware of the fricken oil and pollution spewing from those trains as they crisscross the country with oil car after oil car? Or how about the risk of a derailment and oil car rupture and explosion. Then there's the noise pollution....we also have a pipeline coming through here, and I suspect they go through your town to, only they don't pollute, they rarely leak, are unseen and don't make noise so you don't even know they're there...get it now? What they're protesting is the cleanest, safest way to transport oil...they're being used by Democrat donors, wake up!

The natives do have real beef with the pipeline company. The original pipeline was suppose to cross the Missouri river north of Bismarck but was moved south because of safety concerns. So Natives get to deal with the safety concerns now and get shaft again from the government.

What about my beef...I have probably 500 oil cars coming through my fricken town daily, and only 2 blocks from a grade school, 1 block from the high school. 1 block from a grocery store, 2-3 blocks from 4 churches and right through hundreds of homes and this is one town it goes through in a city of 15mil including burbs...what the F about our air and water quality, noise pollution and safety risk?

Heh, call up 200 of your cousins and start your own protest camp.

Haha, not a bad idea!

Sooo,...I'd think that locally produced alcohol would be the solution, not endangering the water that keeps us alive.
