Kids Marching in protest

Let me start this by saying gun control is NOT the issue. Guns have been around long before I was born and they were never a major issue. They are the focus of our current society however.

I grew up in a two parent home. Mom stayed home while Dad worked. Back then, it was possible. However, society inflated to a point where it became impossible to survive on average without the Mom having to work. That was due to taxation by our Government. Wages stayed the same over the years while costs doubled, tripled, quadrupled, you get the point.

I grew up in what was called the 'latch key' era. That meant both parents worked so when we got out of school my generation would go home to a parentless house. So who raised us? Television did.

We watched wholesome sitcoms like Family Ties and Home Improvements. Everything was going to be ok. The Seavers said so. Just like the predecessors before them, the Cleavers.

But over time the rate of multi working homes increased, as did the divorce rate. It was over 30% when I was a kid and it's ballooned to over 50% today. The major difference today is there are far more unmarried parents having children. So who's raising them?

The media, that's who's doing it.

In my generation we had television that actually made sense. Music television played music, Kids channels played cartoons and shows for kids, and Walt Disney just made movies for kids. But that changed.

You see, when I was very young the Government ran the country. But those days are over. Now the media controls the country. Did you know a handful of corporations own all of our media? The daily information being distributed to the masses is run by a few CEOs. Companies like Clear Channel, Disney and 20th Century FOX.

They are tasked with programming our youth with what to wear, what to eat and how to think. They have cultivated a culture of materialism and all manners of respect, appreciation and self accountability have suffered.

We have video games, movie and television that encourage some of the most violent actions available to the human mind. So what is the one catalyst for vicious and deplorable homicide? Guns.

Guns are of those inventions like the atomic bomb that can you cannot go back and not create. They were used for every war this country has ever fought in. They are now a symbol of protection of our nation to keep our Government from enslaving us like many other nations that need us to protect them.

But who controls the Government now? The media. Look up lobbyist and learn more about that if you doubt me. So the media keeps our youth programmed as always and in the 21st century it's agenda is disarming the people. It highlights negativity every chance it can and forces it's views on the people.

Reporters used to have integrity. That died when MTV started playing the Real World which was fake. Ironic name that killed a good channel.

But this is all avoidable if you just raised your children. Teach them right from wrong. Teach them accountability. Show them that their actions create reactions. It's not a gun problem people, it's a problem with society. Kids today have no repercussions for their actions. Hell, we let them leave school and assemble on their own without any consequence. What kind of lesson does that teach them? That rules don't apply to them?

There was a time when if you got up and walked out of class you weren't welcomed back for 3 days. It was called suspension. That's what we would have gotten. Instead, they are applauded. Their madulla oblogatas aren't even fully formed yet they are treated as if they are brave and enlightened. They are dumbasses. We all were in school. Wisdom trumps intelligence and they haven't lived long enough to be that wise.

They are being coached by my generation of latch key kids who have an agenda. They use these kids as tools for their beliefs.

Raise your kids with respect and accountability. Stop buying into the media and it's bully tactics and watch how quickly gun control stops being an issue. Hard work is what breeds success. The media tells them they are entitled to it. Shut down the internet and media outlets watch how fast this generation falls apart. They are reliant so much on it that if you took it away they would starve to death.

They know how to march, but do they know how to survive without technology?

Sorry for the rant but Jesus this is stupid. We have more knowledge at our fingertips than ever in history and our society is dumber as a result. Irony...
