Virtual Private Network.

Instead of you communicating directly to the internet, you connect to a VPN server that connects to the internet. This creates an encrypted stream from you to the server, so no one knows who you are really talking to or what you are talking about.

However, you then use the VPN to talk to facebook, and many sources can figure out both ends of the VPN, so it kinda gets compromised.

I have something called Peer Block, is that similar (I'm not a tech guy lol)
