this is exceptionally good news. not only will restrictive measures about having to get signatures from outside ones own county be removed, but the state can no longer preemptively hold off petitions by forcing candidates to gather 10's of thousands of signatures and then act under the threat of being fined (as in Nader's case, $80k) for failing in the petition. It was a huge block to allowing grassroots candidates and grassroots growth, and we can only hope this spreads like wildfire. way to go PA.
