As the James Comey hearing is beamed through everyone's TV, computer and phone, the obvious truth seems distant.
I am not a Trump supporter, I'm a voluntaryist. I don't believe in statism of any kind.
With that said, it's hard to stand idly by while this obvious establishment witch hunt and distraction takes place as gullible people share it all over their newsfeed begging for another historic "Watergate" scenario.
The public loves scandal and the public loves to see a successful person fall.
The only argument people seem to have on the left now is "Russia! Russia! Russia! Putin! Meddling!"
Seems a little desperate, doesn't it?
Almost makes me miss being told I must hate the poor and that I must be racist for believing in freedom. ;)
Here are the facts...
Are people forgetting that Saudi Arabia attempted to meddle in the U.S. election by giving Hillary Clinton millions of dollars for her campaign? A country that sponsors terrorism?
Do people forget that there isn't a single country in the world INCLUDING Russia which the U.S. hasn't meddled in the election of?
Does anyone know what the U.S. is doing right now in The Ukraine?
Did you know that the Clinton Foundation got a huge payoff by the Russian government after Hillary sold a massive amount of uranium to them as Secretary of State? Or does that conflict with your selective beneficial prerogative?

Not a fan of Putin here, but Putin left the KGB in protest against the USSR. He has tried to have Lenin's body unpreserved and thrown in a grave. He vocally hates the left and has said so on many occasions.
In my point of view, they're all statists but I don't think it does the truth justice to claim he's some leftist.

I think at one point the left liked him but it's my job to deal with the left and the right on a daily basis as a reporter and I haven't spoken to someone on the left in years who looked at Putin fondly other than maybe Oliver Stone.

Do you really believe a KGB assassin would come out and tell you what he was? You lose some credibility with that kind of assertion. As to communists who believe in Putin I have many friends (idealists) who still symphatize with communism and consider Putin a hero, personally I believe he is a totalitarian fascist who heads a police state, but what I say still stands, the left view him as an ok fellow.

And what do you mean I lose some credibility regarding my friend being a former KGB assassin? Yes some former KGB assassins have come out about the horrible things they've done. Most haven't and most haven't let go of the fact that the USSR had fallen but that doesn't mean none of them would ever call out the totalitarianism they lived under and unfortunately fought for.
