The Climate Change debate in one Cartoon

I find it frustrating how the term "Capitalist" has become synonymous with greed and selfishness. Capitalism in its basic form is providing a product or service at a good price whilst earning more than you spent to create said product or service.

Competition in the market is what determines a good price. So if you take away the competition with government regulation you do these things plus more:

  1. You take away diversity in a market (monopolies).
  2. You incentivize cronyism (campaign contributions).
  3. You create black markets (prohibition of certain products and services).

In regards to climate change, I feel it is important to note that we would already have a green economy if the government wouldn't continue to prop up the oil and coal industries.
