This coming Saturday, November 2nd at the South Carolina Libertarian Party Convention, the attention of Libertarians all over the country will be focused on the first official Libertarian Party Presidential Debate. Adam Kokesh, leader in the race, will face off against his friends Daniel “Taxation is Theft” Behrman, Kim Ruff, Vermin Supreme, Kenneth Reed Armstrong, and Dr. Jo Jorgensen. The doors to Chapman Auditorium, in the McNair Science Building on the Francis Marian University campus, will open at 6:30pm eastern time and the debate will begin at 7:00pm. The address for the debate is 4822 E Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29506.
There have been several unofficial debates held, but this one promises to be a must see event officially sponsored by the party. The candidates will make their case for why they should represent the third largest party in the country against Donald Trump and the Democratic Party Candidate. Though each candidate offers a different vision, each of them stand firm on Libertarian Principles and the Party Platform https://www.lp.org/platform/.
Libertarians differ in many ways from the two old parties significantly. One shining example is their devotion to the respect for individual liberty while competing for the nomination. These are not a set of enemies trying to out maneuver or attack his opponent. The Libertarian Candidates realize that they are on the same team. They are competing to demonstrate who is the best representative of the ideas and message of the Libertarian Party and the Freedom movement.
I am the Press Secretary for Adam Kokesh and obviously I believe that he is the best candidate that will be on the stage in front of the American people in South Carolina this coming weekend. That being said, I am proud of ALL of these magnificent lovers of liberty and believe that any of them would be an excellent choice to be the Libertarian Party Candidate for President of the United States. As the Party continues to unite, together we will Finally Free America.
