The main difference between politics in the U.S. and politics in India

A few months ago I found this sign of a political campaign in Haidakhan (District of Nainital, Uttarkhand). Note the elephant with the swastika. In contrast to US-Politicians indians seem to be straight forward with their fascist tendencies :D


Note: The swastika is an ancient religious symbol in Hinduism. Only the use of the symbol in Nationalsocialist Germany kind of contaminated it for the perception of Westerners.

    The symbol in the picture is not a swastika. It is in the wrong direction.
