re: "Trump Administration Threatens Families Of Venezuelan Military"

You mean the same military that is blocking International Aid (Food, medicine, baby food) from entering the country; do you mean the same military that is living the high life while others starve in the country? Do you mean the same military that is killing people in Venezuela, indiscriminately? The same military that is selling oil illegally and putting the money in the Gazprombank in Russia? The same military that is looting the country and putting millions in nest eggs in secret accounts all around the world including the Russian Gazprombank? The same Russia state controlled bank that has got itself in deep doo-doo because it taking payments for oil sold by the illegal government of Maduro as payments against his huge debts to Gazprombank. And is now allowing military officers to deposit large amounts of looted Venezuelan wealth into Gazprombank accounts.

Are you talking about the military that has firing squaded its own people because they won't comply with the vicious oppression of Venezuelan people. And see Maduro as a dictator. Are you talking about the military that has had 4000 middle rank desertions, or the massive desertions of lower rank soldiers. Are you talking about the same military that is preparing for war?

"If you know anything about John Bolton, you just know he typed “noose” first instead of “circle”." Caitlin Johnstone

Now you are putting words directly into the mouths of those you denigrate publicly. Do you know what truth means? And Bolton did not say what you defined extremely poorly. Your are misleading the readership! The 'financial circle' refers to the money being shipped off shore by high-ranking miliary officers of the Venezuelan military. And that, that money is known to whom it belongs, and that sanctions are proving right in correcting its thief from the country of Venezuela. The whole world knows about the corruption.

And you blurt out this piece of disinformation. For what, a few shekels Cait?

"This would be the same John Bolton, for the record, who once threatened to murder an international official’s children for obstructing his attempts to manufacture support for the Iraq invasion which killed a million human beings and plunged the region into terrorism and chaos."

Would you care to supply facts for that allegation... all that bullshit came from another anti-Semite and lying shit disturber and information terrorist Mehdi Raza Hasan. A lying liar of infamy at Al Jazeera before it bought respect. A slanted pro-muslim mouthpiece and US hater. Hasan is a hack to say the least... and his sourcing has been in constant doubt, since he began to write. He is a journalist (sic), with a National Enquirer mind. He makes up most of this shit up. If he can't find a scandal, then he makes one up. Why do you think he writes for the Intercept? Hasan has a personal hate on for Bolton, and looks for every opportunity to exploit it. He is more about the created public image of John Bolton than he would care to acknowledge. How many times has Hasan dealt with this subject in 2018/2019. would you care to tell that truth Caitlin.

You do know Medhi Hasan was the senior editor for politics at the New Statesman; that old Fabian Society mouthpiece. Now he is at the Intercept, the most socialist on-line rape of the mind that exists. And you want me to believe what CJ?

Hasan is the journalist who continues to tell us how peaceful the religion of Islam is, while standing in ruins created by Islamic terrorism. He continues to tell us how peaceful Islam is while every city in Europe is under Islam's onslaught of violence. No-go zones, and violence against women.

" [...] he came under fire for having too much success in diplomacy with the Iraqi government,[...]'

No he came under fire because he was unreliable, a Hague vote (48-7) ousted him official duties, this was the first time that this was first time a head of an International organization ha to be removed, an emergency and deeply secret meeting was called because of it. He had been negotiating with the Iraqi government on his own and not under a UN mandate or the implementing body of 193 member states. In essence it gave Saddam the inside information of what was on the mind of the OPCW's mind.

This garbage you spew out, as a yellow journalist everyday is predictable as I see your agenda unfold.

And that agenda is still the same. Socialism.

"The guys who threaten to kill the families of officials if they aren’t given their way. The guys who threaten to starve the families of military officials who don’t turn on their government and kill anyone who tries to stop them." --Caitlin Johnstone

You keep drifting further and further into stupidity. No one threatened to kill. A peaceful end is sought in this situation. No one has threatened to starve any one, in fact NGO's and the western nations are trying to get food and medicine in the form of aid into the country.

THERE ARE WAREHOUSES FULL TO THE RAFTERS WITH FOOD WAITING TO CROSS THE BLOCKED BRIDGE; THE BORDER, BETWEEN VENEZUELA AND COLUMBIA...THE VENEZUEALAN MILITARY IS THE ONLY OBSTACLE IN THE WAY OF THAT FOOD REACHING A STARVING POPULACE.

So I can't imagine the miliary is very hungary Cait.

Yeah, I threatened a couple of kids, so what!?
Nobody's perfect.

It's not like I ever bullied anyone in the intelncommunity or manipulated intelligence to fit my pro-war / pro-regime change agenda, right?

Well, besides that time when I was kinda the lead cheerleader for the invasion of Iraq, I might have pushed some inaccurate information concerning Iraqi WMDs and might have mislead the American people that Saddam was an imminent threat to our nation.

Oohh, there was also a time when I erroneously claimed that Cuba was developing Biological Weapons ...Woops! - that was embarrassing. Tried to get that SOB fired too when I got called out on cooking the intelligence. Damn, resilient little bastard he was.

Never mind that nonsense!

I'm proud of my stellar record of consistently pushing for military interventionism and regime change no matter what the evidence is.

  • Iraq - regime change / use of military force -Total success. The middle East has never been safer. Millions dead. Pretty sure they were all terrorists.
  • Syria - regime change in progress / covert + proxy military force - Total success. Increasing the peace and winning the hearts and minds of Syrians daily. Hundreds of thousands dead.
  • North Korea - I'm still hopeful for regime change and military actions / success pending. But that won't stop me from fear mongering about NK's ambitions to attack the US with nuclear weapons.
  • Iran - Next up for regime change! / We'll save the Iranian people by dropping love-bombs on them. "To stop Iran’s bomb, bomb Iran”

I must sat say Michael, you're doing an excellent job of promoting regime change, defending Americans from the terrifying "S" word, gazprombank-gate, American hegemony, and anti-Caitoz phraseology.

    We shall overcome.

“We will not be participating in what is, for us, not humanitarian aid,” stated Colombia’s International Red Cross (ICRC) spokesperson, Christoph Harnisch.

You are insane to believe all this crap. Its like you've been labotomised and your head filled with CIA black propaganda. Socialism is pretty cool actually. That's why European healthcare outcomes kick the ass out of the US, and remember Cubans live longer than Americans. They don't want your aid or military intervention thanks. Pretty sure Caitlin doesn't think that highly of Mehdi Hasan BTW

The ICRC has described the "humanitarian aid" being played out in the media a "distortion" -

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement said Monday that they cannot participate in the distribution of international humanitarian aid to Venezuela from Colombia if there is no prior agreement with those organizations.

The ICRC made the following statement:

"The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement reaffirm that in order to ensure the fulfillment of its exclusively humanitarian mission and, according to the fundamental principles of impartiality, neutrality and independence, it cannot take part in the initiatives to hand over assistance for Venezuela from Colombia," the two organizations said in a joint statement signed by the head of the IFRC Country Cluster for Andean Countries, Michele Detomaso, head of the ICRC delegation in Colombia, Christoph Harnisch, and president of the Colombian Red Cross, Judith Carvajal.

I live in a country with socialised health care, and its awesome!!

We all get free medical treatment "from the cradle to the grave". Anything else is barbaric, but whatever you like. I'm sorry that you don't like your elected government, that's life I'm afraid, it happens a lot, don't burn down the place 'cos you didn't get your own way. If you don't like where you live, go someplace else and stop moaning like a spoilt child, if you're so "strong" go do your thing elsewhere. I'm spokesperson for me, and I've read CJ being very critical of Mehdi Hasan in the past (none of your links were about this!?), who would say anything for anyone for the right price. "Someone has to pay for all that free shit".. "freeloaders".. you sound like a nice guy, ha ha. You are a total moron, with healthcare it works out cheaper for everyone to do it together. You sound like a total idiot to me, who's watched to many bad rightwing youtube videos, and just hates everyone else (probably yourself too).. So I'm gonna ignore your stupid shit and listen to... someone who did have a brain that worked...

Did you pay for that lobotomy? ha ha

I'm sorry to have to break this to you... but Venezuela doesn't have a socialist economy. Cuba does, but Venezuela allows private business no? Remember all your rich friends, the food manufacturers, hoarding food, they have private businesses. So Venezuela has a mixed economy.

1st link - the bridge was never opened, it was a lie that this bridge was ever open to vehicles... where are you from?

2nd - US sanctions and lots of other covert manipulations have caused lots of problems

3rd - This link doesn't work - but medical supplies have also been blocked and money and gold kept like in England

4th - Covert manipulation of the currency has also gone on - I

5th - There have been serious problems I understand, and the government isn't perfect, there is corruption, but nothing like the way the whole country will be rinsed if the US gets it way

You didn't make a single interesting point

Your claim= The bridge is opened, always has been open...

The truth= "The photo was uploaded in June 2017. Tienditas Bridge, reported throughout the media as blocked by Venezuela this week, has in fact been blocked for at least 18 months!" http://www.ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2019/february/10/the-tienditas-bridge-blockade/

US sanctions are not on the economy they are on individuals = not true

Maduro is a dictator = not true

All your points are the same old US, Little Marco Rubio points, total BS

You live in an oppressive Socialist country!!??
Just name the country Micheal, and we'll bomb some democracy into them!
Which vile and disgusting poverty-ridden socialist hellscape are you living in dear friend?
I hope it's not one of those sad countries who believe in human rights, diplomacy, national sovereignty or the UN charter!
Just say the word...
