Armenia was probably about to get its own Maidan and a civil war in the Krabakh region.
Question is what kind of deals were closed behind closed doors aside from street opposition leader getting prime minister position.
Now the west has still lots of remaining multiple choices in order to distract the world cup celebration:
- Syria, as seen with last month's false flag
- false flag ala Skripal
- possible escalation in Donbass by putsch regime being blamed on Russia
- western hooligan provocations as seen in 2016
- even bigger diffamation campaign by western press
- last but not least terrorism. In 2014 western intelligence agencies were allowed to Sochi in order to help preventing terrorism. There was even reports about allegedly prevented attempts.
In 2018 they've got more cities to protect and US agents will be missed(or acting undercover)due to US team not having qualified. Most western politicians will be boycotting the event, so western elites surely wouldn't mind a terror attack on Russian soil.
there's certainly lots of work coming for Russian security forces, pr people and diplomats.
Let's hope they are going to master it as seen in 2014.
