The North Korea And Questions We All Should Be Asking.

On August 2, 1964, the destroyer USS Maddox was reported to have been pursued by the Northern Vietnamese navy and fired upon. Fifty three years later we know this to have been a lie and yet at the time it was bordering on treasonous to question the narrative. A narrative that lead to the death of 1,353,000 human beings and countless lives irrevocably shattered after the smoke cleared. A narrative that was a blatant and deadly lie. We now are beating the drums of war for a new overt campaign in Asia against North Korea. Now I have no doubt that the North Korean government is despotic and oppressive as well as ringed in codes and values that we here in the west find backwards and even primitive. However, before we go to war don't you think we aught to be questioning the actions of the proven liar and manipulative entity that we call The United States government?

Perspective:

Now at this stage war is clearly in the offing and is pretty much a foregone conclusion. Every year we as the largest military in the world simulate the destruction of the North Korean government and every year it ruffles their feathers. Every year they respond with the only language they can which is to display what little strength they do have in the form of missile tests, parades, and military war games of their own. As a small nation they are ringed in by the largest military powers on the planet with the US to the south salivating over its destruction. If I walked up to you every year and pointed a gun in your face and pulled the trigger and all you heard was a click you'd be unnerved. If before walking off I said one day it will be loaded you would naturally be armed the next time I see you. The the person dry firing the gun every year is the US and the North Koreans response is in proportion to our action.

Motive Of The US Government:

If we take a look at US geopolitical strategy it doesn't take a genius to see the real reason we are prepared to level this small impoverished nation. When we endorsed the Euromaidan uprising in the Ukraine ousting a democratically elected leader and placing a Western friendly government in place the soul intent was to destabilize Russia and gain a dominance on any trade in the Black Sea region. The government we placed in was predominantly comprised of Svoboda members at the top. This is a political party that has its roots with the Nazi Party and upon gaining western endorsed control has ruthlessly committed atrocities against Russian speaking Ukrainian citizens. The motives of our intervention had little to do with supporting democracy and everything to do with funding tyranny for economic gain. The same can be seen again with our funding of extremist groups in Syria like AL NUSRA which is Alqueda in Syria. We want to destabilize Assad's government to the point that we fund and train extremist who use chemical weapons on the Syrian people. I invite the reader to review the UN's findings from Carla Del Ponte's investigation into these attacks. Assad isn't petrodollar friendly. Neither was Saddam Hussein and yet the moment he moved dollar sales over to the Euro we were bringing democracy at the end of an AR platform rifle to the Iraqi people. Gaddafi wanted to create an oil backed currency called the Dinar and he even disarmed and handed over his nukes. Look at his fate. I can assure you that Kim Jong Il is, and taking a lesson from it no doubt. But why North Korea? They don't have oil. Nope. Oils not the motive here. In fact this beast has more than one head.

In September of 2016 the Chinese Yuan made its way into the IMF special drawing rights basket and since then it has gained some clout on the global financial stage. With this progress China hasn't wasted its time or energy and has been beavering away diligently at the dollar for some time now. This past month China and Russia have begun to move away from the dollar with China buying oil futures contracts in gold backed currency. Russia as well as the other bricks nations are fully on board with this despite China recent spat with India. Now this is an unadulterated attack on the US petrodollar and the US has no intention of letting it go unanswered. But how do we do that? China is not an easily destabilized government and we can't pull our usual. It won't work here with China. Not only do they have a massively productive economy as well as a huge military, they also have totalitarian control of their people and their borders...Except North Korea. North Korea rest as a buffer to the American occupied South Korea but also holds another massive treasure as well... Rare earth metals. A survey conducted by a South Korean research institute put the value of the North's untapped wealth at around 10 trillion USD. Rare earth metals are what are predominantly used in the manufacture of smart phones and electronics and are just as valuable a resource as oil. The only other two areas of the world that could rival North Korea in this resource are Afghanistan and the Congo. By destabilizing North Korea and creating a humanitarian crisis that spills over into China and Russia we are ineffectively responding to their attack on our current global economic hegemony. These types of actions are a common theme in US foreign policy and aren't going to be changing anytime soon.

So the next time you have one of the talking heads spouting their usual spew of democracy or security, the next time the hair cut in the suit is falsely claiming that these aggressive actions are required for the greater good... Ask yourself if any of these reasons have ever been the reasons we have went to war. Thanks for reading guys and steem on.

Woowee! That was a read.
But you're right . Vietnam was started on a lie. Just like Desert storm.
And as usual, no matter what side you are on in the U.S. The government machine is starting phony wars because war makes money. Pah!
