Whitehouse.Gov tl;dw President Trump Signs Tax Bill 22Dec2017

in politics •  7 years ago

- 4 billion dollars of missile defense, and $700 million dollars allotted to other military spending.

-Largest tax cuts in history of the United States. 3.2 trillion dollars worth. Doubling of the child tax credit. Families of 4 that earn 75k dollars a year will see an income tax cut of $2k dollars. Signing of this bill allows for Americans to take advantage of this when you file taxes at the turn of the new year.

-AT&T, Comcast, Boeing, Sinclair, Wells Fargo and other companies have reportedly made contributions to employees and the economy because of the tax bill.

-Corporate tax rate will be lowered from 35% to 21%.

-Exemption from paying estate taxes.

-Estimated $4 trillion will be brought back into the US from overseas from being locked down because of bureaucracy and regulations.

-Removed the ObamaCare mandate that requires people to pay a penalty for not carrying health insurance.

I figured I'd save everyone 20 minutes of their time and just highlight the emphasis of President Trump's speech. Hopefully it gives everyone a competitive edge on their political discussions.
