Americans are poorly served by their mindless compliance with illegal corrupt policies.
You should be demanding the end of the US embargo of Cuba and full unfettered access to the 50+ ultra low cost pharmaceuticals that Cuba invented and the Americans are forbidden to access.
You cannot access these if you’re American because of the failed US embargo of Cuba that has now been going on 60 years. Even though the Defense Intelligence Agency has declared that Cuba is not an enemy, Americans are threatened/extorted/blackmailed via the illegal use of the Trading With The Enemy Act. This act is supposed to only apply to nations the US has declared war against.
The last time the US declared war and had a legitimate application of the Trading with The Enemy act was May, 1943 against Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania.
If it’s too much to end the US embargo for the whole US, at least end it for Puerto Rico, whose people were part of the same political entity for over 80% of the last 500 years.
Puerto Rico, freed from the embargo, could license Cuban pharmaceuticals and package them and sell these to Americans, saving lives and doing something about this now four years in a row of declining life expectancy.
