"There is something very strange going on" with the recent indictment filed against former Debbie Wasserman Schultz IT Aide Imran Awan says a former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Besides the ongoing investigation into bank fraud, theft of house computers, evidence internal leaks which could fully debunk the Russian hacking narrative, possible espionage, and other crimes by Imran Awan, the IT staffer to former Democratic National Committee (Rep) Debbie Wasserman Schultz; a recent ZeroHedge report on the four part indictment of Awan since his arrest last month highlights some glaring omissions in the current case being built by the courts against Awan and his wife. It is very unusual that "the indictment appears to go out of its way not to mention" the fact that Awan was arrested while fleeing the U.S., says former U.S attorney Andrew McCarthy.
This notable omission of crucial evidence against Awan suggests that officials could be 'low-keying' the Awan prosecution. Some have speculated that this could be a coordinated effort by Democrats, and those running the investigation to quickly charge and jail Awan on lesser crimes in order to prevent him from talking publicly about the full extent of his crimes which would likely open a much wider investigation into rampant corruption by all politicians involved.
