One Expensive Book On Amazon

in politics •  7 years ago

Recently, I decided that I wanted to learn more about the Tavistock Institute in England. As the information below describes, Tavistock has a very controversial history, as it clearly seems to have been a think tank for covertly propagating certain social agendas; i.e. it was social engineering in its most explicit form. I really know little more about it at this point. However, I have read that one of its early participants, during the 1920’s, was Edward Bernays. Bernays is often viewed as the father of modern propaganda. He worked as a public relations specialist in New York, and in the late 1920’s he summarized his ideas regarding his work in a book actually called “Propaganda.” It’s a short book, which I own, and it reveals his elitist attitude and describes how easy it is for advertisers, and the media in general, to shape public opinion. I’ve read a quote by Joseph Goebbels, who was the Reich Master of Propaganda for Hitler, crediting everything he learned about propaganda from reading Bernays book. Bernays later worked for the tobacco industry. He lived to be 104. He was also the nephew of Sigmund Freud.

The book I bought on Amazon concerning Tavistock cost about $21. Only 1 other book is listed that focuses on the history of this organization. Check-out the price tag on this second, paperback book.

A must read...

ByAmuneton December 20, 2013
Format: Paperback|Verified Purchase

This book is a little hard to read, but well worth it. This book names the people behind the curtain who are changing or have changes our institutions as we know it or should I say knew it. If you think the elite don't corrupt our institutions then think again. Our education is corrupting the minds of our youth and remember we were the youth of the past. All of our institutions are corrupted eg., religion, education, media, political, etc... Nothing is untouched by the corruption...

The think-tank of the most vile men on Earth.

ByJohnnyJayon October 31, 2016
Format: Paperback|Verified Purchase

The most important book on today's propaganda war being fought on the people of Western culture, and how it became what it is today, from small beginnings. It's executors, their motives and tools used in causing the demise of millions due to manufactured wars. This book is very hard to find. If you look for it in most places online, it's price is unbelievable, or the only copy available is German. This doesn't seem to me a coincidence, considering that it states plainly that most of us are controlled by the propaganda of master criminals. It names the 4 at the thinking helm of the Institute, those being Lippmann, Bernays, Rothermere and Northcliffe. It also goes into detail of how the Institute was transitioned from the Wellington House, a one-purpose creation used to weaken public resistance to Britain's looming WW1 involvement, into Tavistock, the world's social-engineering hub of propaganda. John Coleman's publishing company, World Intelligence Review, has the book available electronically. I'd recommend Coleman's other books such as "The Conspirator's Hierarchy -The Committee Of 300" and "The Rothschild Dynasty", as well.

Well kept hidden history from the American public

ByVanessa Barreraon February 21, 2011
Format: Paperback|Verified Purchase

If the whole nation read this book, most would take this as utter nonsense. "Well if all this was true, we would know about it!" No, wrong my fellow citizen. That theory would contradict this whole book. It would contradict the basic principles of The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. Their aim is not to inform you on their controlling actions in our society but to use scientific methods that are well known to work in discreetly "brainwashing" the public.

The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations was created in 1921 at Oxford by The Royal Institute for International Affairs and later funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. It is the core for mass indoctrination and global manipulation. From Wars to the media, it has effected it all.

This book has 35 short but detailed chapters. Some of which are:

  1. Founding The Worlds Premier Brainwashing Institute
  2. How "Times" Were made to Change
  3. Social Engineering and the Social Scientists
  4. Do we have what H.G. Wells called an "Invisible government?"
  5. The Making Of Public Opinion
  6. Degrading Women and the decline of Moral Standards
  7. The Paradigm shift in education
  8. Lewin's doctrine of "Identity Change"
  9. The Media's Role In Propaganda
  10. The Black art of successful lying: The Gulf War 1991
  11. The Tavistock Institute: Britain's control over America
  12. How mediocre politicians, actors and singers are "puffed"
  13. How Tavistock makes well people sick
  14. Zero growth in Agriculture and industry: America's Post Industrial Society
  15. Exposing the upper level parallel secret government
  16. The Music industry, Mind Control, Propaganda and War

The back cover reads:
"The Tavistock Institute for Human Relations has had a profound effect on the moral, spiritual, cultural, political and economic policies of the United States and Great Britain. It has been in the front line of the attack on the U.S. Constitution and State constitutions. No group did more to propagandize the U.S to participate in the WWI at a time when the majority of the American people were opposed to it.

"Much of the same tactics were used by the Social Science scientists at Tavistock to get the US into WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Serbia and both wars in Iraq. Tavistock began as a propaganda creating and disseminating organization at Wellington House in London in the run-up to WWI, what Toynbee called "that black hole of disinformation." On another occasion Toynbee called Wellington House "a lie factory." From a somewhat crude beginning, Wellington House evolved into the Tavistock Institute and went on to shape the destiny of Germany, Russia, Britain and the United States in a highly controversial manner. The people of these nations were unaware that they were being "brainwashed." The origin of "mind control," "inner directional conditioning" and mass "brainwashing" is explained in an easy to understand book written with great authority.

"The fall of dynasties, the Bolshevik Revolution, WWI and WWII saw the destruction of old alliances and boundaries, the convulsions in religion, morals, family life, economic and political conduct, decadence in music and art can all be traced back to mass brainwashing practiced by the Tavistock Institute....."

Overall this book is easy to follow with history that one must certainly know. If you're looking for a book with vital information about what goes on behind the scenes, then this one is for you.

The Mind Control And Brainwashing Of America

ByAlanWarneron December 26, 2013
Format: Paperback|Verified Purchase

The Tavistock Institute is the premier brainwashing mind control institute in the world, there are many morsels of delicious information in this book to digest so please bear with me if you find my review to be longwinded. Chapter 14 "America Is Not A Homeland" is a must read, this paragraph is on page 66 "In the wake of the World Trade Center disaster, President Bush created a new government agency, which he called the Office of Homeland Security and appointed a director to oversee the agency. Now this sounds very comforting and soothing until we look at the tenth Amendment, which reserves all such powers as Mr. Bush proposed to seize, to the several States. The fact that Mr. Bush cannot overrule the tenth Amendment was blithely ignored. The propaganda blurb says he can, and since it was directed to the masses, they believed the blurb, rather than their Constitution, and so there was little effective opposition to this gross violation of the Constitution, particularly the tenth Amendment. Bush appears to have been operating under the Stalin directive:"If you want to control the people, first terrorize them." Chapter 31 "zero Growth In Agriculture And Industry: America's Post Industrial Society" the entire chapter is very enlightening there is a direct relationship between the Tavistock Institute and The Committee of 300.

Strange I came across your post here... I used to own a book on Tavistock by Daniel Estulin. Not thousands of $, but like 20.
I lent it to someone a while ago (month or two) but now nobody has ever heard of it. I've been wracking my brain for 2 weeks, trying to think of every person I could have given it to, but everybody just says, "nope."
The thing is, is my social circle is relatively small. And of that small social circle, the amount of people I bother to engage in conversation about these topics is shrimpy at best.
My paranoia-feelers are starting to tingle...

On another, related, note: I have noticed the price of some similar-type books have gone astronomical on amazon in the last few years. Gotta wonder if it's some type of soft-cencorship, no?
