Marco tweets out grisly before/after pictures of Gaddafi as a message to Maduro.

As someone whose friend had to flee Venezuela last year, I want very much for the Venezuelan people to rise up and oust Maduro.

But the operative phrase there is “for the Venezuelan people to rise up.”

The people of Venezuela voted for the mess they are in. And if they want out of it, it is up to them to get out of it.

Maduro is a monster. He is living the good life while his people starve to death.

And this weekend, his military attacked convoys with humanitarian aid and opened fire on his own people. It takes a special kind of evil to murder people who just want food.

But I am not a “use the US military for regime change in Venezuela” kind of gal.

In that respect, I agree with Kurt Schlichter:

But clearly Marco Rubio doesn’t agree.

Yesterday on Twitter Marco decided it would be clever to post before/after pictures of dictators who were ousted thanks to American intervention.

I have to tell you, it was downright perverse.

And the one that absolutely horrified me was this one.

Ah, yes. Libya.

What a marvelous thing it was when the US helped overthrow Gaddafi.

Thanks to Obama, Hillary and interventionists like Marco Rubio and John McCain, Libya today is a stateless hell-hole crawling with Islamist jihadists and open slave markets.

Hurrah for regime change!

Is Marco suggesting the US help the Venezuelan people
oust Maduro then drag his corpse through the streets?

This is a United States Senator posting this kind of snuff garbage on Twitter –
interspersed, ironically enough, with tweeted Bible verses.

Yes. Wishing for a tyrant to be dragged through the streets, murdered on film
and his body then defiled coupled with verses from the Bible.

I’m speechless.

I would say “what is Marco hinting at here,” but it isn’t exactly a “hint.”
It’s about as subtle as a bullet to the head.

I am genuinely mystified that Senator Marco Rubio is
willing to post such violent imagery on social media.

Maduro is a monster, so we become monstrous too?

I want the people of Venezuela to rise up against this tyrant who thinks nothing of murdering them. I want them to be able to restore freedom and liberty.
But is up to them to fight for their freedom.

We saw what happened to Libya after Gaddafi’s gruesome murder.

For Rubio to link Maduro to Gaddafi in such a vivid and grisly way is deeply disturbing.

Especially coming from a United States Senator.
