I usually don´t like discussing political opinions in public. Most of the time it leads to nothing but hostility. Today I´ll make an exception. I´d like to know if I am the only person who cannot believe that this funny blond character is seriously applying for the President´s office.   

Please apologize, this article surely will be very cynical. 

The current key subjects - seriously?

There is approximately one week left until we all know who is going to be the 45th President of The United States of America. So this is the big issue! The World is watching! I therefore asked myself who I would vote for if I could. 

But honestly, if I relied on the key subjects treated in the newspapers, the big presidential debats on TV or social media networks, I would base my decision on potentially held locker room talks or unsubstantial twitter battles.

Is there any intention to elect a President by following a political vision? 

Sticking with the debats on TV: I have the sensation that the only thing which matters is if Hillary Clinton still smiles when she´s attacked verbally by Donald Trump. Instead of evaluating real content, messages and political reference points of both of them, the audience is worried about body language. Do we want our future President to smile when somebody next to him/her starts spreading bullshit? Sorry but who was that funny blond guy next to Hillary Clinton trying to get some attention by insulting her when the air was getting tight? 

Well I don´t care about who has the coolest smile neither the better hair cut. I want some facts, please! I wanna know what that funny blond character can offer me for my vote. 

This is Donald Trump´s program - are you kidding? 

"Make America great again!"

"Make America great again!" Okay Mr. Trump, nice slogan. But what does that mean? That´s quite imprecise. As well as your answer to the question if you would honor the election results when the time has come: "I’ll tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense." 

Suspense? Interesting. So you want me to vote for suspense? A black box? A surprise? Where the hell on this planet an investor would have given money to a surpise box? It wouldn´t be called investment. It would be speculation. But does American citizens want to speculate? Do you want them to invest their votes in suspense? I mean a whole country is on stake. 

Let´s give him another try. 

I´ve been surfing around Donald Trump´s website for some hours, and the only thing I can find there are some vague ideas. Ideas are important (or "great" as Mr. Trump might call them), but where´s your strategy, man? 

Let´s give you some examples copied from Trump´s website: 

INFRASTRUCTURE: Provide maximum flexibility to the states.
Sounds like a plan. But what is the idea exactly about? Which kind of 'flexibility' do you mean? And what does 'maximum' mean? The maximum possible in which circumstances? Who does define it? 

Well, let´s try with another area, maybe here we´re going to succeed and finally get some answers: 

CHILD CARE: Creating a new, dynamic market for family-based and community-based solutions.  
I love the word "dynamic", it´s so positive, full of energy and prospect! But what kind of market and solutions are we exactly talking about? Maybe baby buggies? Dental braces? Where? When? Who? And how? 

Well let´s check another interesting category of your program: 

ECONOMY: Create a dynamic booming economy that will create 25 million new jobs over the next decade.
Dynamic, again! Awesome. Seems like you are also a big fan of that word and we have at least one thing in common. What I actually don´t get is how you want to create all these jobs? Do you? 

I still don´t give up - let´s have a look at one more position: 

IMMIGRATION. Point 1 of the 10 Point Plan to Put America First: Begin working on an impenetrable physical wall on the southern border, on day one. Mexico will pay for the wall.
First I thought it was a joke, but it´s not. So Donald Trump proposes to build a wall between the United States of America an Mexico, assuring that Mexico will pay for it since they will be compelled to do so (the word "compel" is literally used in the program!)? Maybe this is the only position in Donald Trump´s program which is at least clear. Clear bullshit.

What is missed in Donald Trump´s program 

There are two essential things missing in Donald Trump´s program. First: structure. Second: Content.
Since I am not willing to become the next President I may help with this structure problem but not the content. 

And here is my formula for a perfect grounding for every kind of prosperous profession, business or personal life achievement (no copywrite, Mr. Trump :-)): 

1. Idea

An idea is the vision, the main objective, the future plan. It has to be clear, describing well the "who" and "what" and "when". Important: there is no subjunctive, ideas are described as a matter of fact.
Example: I will become the most succesful steemer until the end of 2016. 

2. Strategy

The strategy is the way you choose to achieve that formerly expressed idea, still without defining exactly the action to execute in the end. Obviously, the strategy usually isn´t a singular step but a network of possibilities which finally lead to the main purpose (the idea).
Example:
1) I analyse the history of steemit, its technical background (backend), content development, user growth and behaviour to become a steemit expert in every respect.
2) I´ll expand my steemit network, increase my lobbying activities and number of followers.
3) ...... etc. 

3. Realization 

The realization is the real action which follows after having well defined the idea and its strategy. It´s what we actually DO to achieve our main goal.  
Example (action which follows strategy no. 2): I spend 5 hours per day reading articles, upvoting, commenting and resteeming the ones I like and in my opinion are worth to be shared. 

Missing the role model

Finally there is one more thing I would like to state regarding the current election campaigns. What I am missing most besides a profound program is a role model function. I mean could you seriously imagine Donald Trump travelling around the World representing a nation like the United States? Wouldn´t you think being part of a comedy spot? 

In my opinion there are few people on Earth who have such a responsible role model function as it does have the President of the United States of America. Looking back in history there have been always strong politically accomplished characters accounting for the President´s office. Independently from their political interests or strategy, they were at least respectable personalities. 

So give him a TV show but not the keys for the White House :-)
