That's why I provided 4 different sources of coverage, so you can see how each side spins it.

Interesting post technologically. Inserting live streams into a post at Steem. I wonder what else can be inserted into a post here. Thanks for the creativity!

Glad you enjoyed it! Much more is possible, check out this open source code I found and have been trying to suggest: https://steemit.com/steemit-ideas/@tinfoilfedora/a-solution-to-copied-content-that-would-make-steemit-explode-with-cool-posts

I checked out the link you suggested...

The re-posting of news articles, videos etc. is a big part of social media while Steemit.com is fostering original content. This cues my thoughts about the use of blockchain for scientific literature and data. I am interested in using Steem as a platform for doing science, Synthetic Biology to be specific. Perhaps https://noembed.com/ and https://oembed.com/ could be programmed, theoretically, to allow scientists to share their knowledge while maintaining ownership of their intellectual property; or so it would seem. What say you?

Hosting scientific papers is a great idea for blockchain based storage. The topics big pharma doesn't like and the ones locked away behind paywalls could finally be made accessible and searchable by everyone. That noembed plugin does work with article sharing sites and could embed already published papers, but to make it truly decentralized all the data should be stored in a blockchain like steem or ipfs.

There is a guy here working on exactly what you are looking for, look up pharesim's project Pevo. https://steemit.com/steem/@pharesim/publishing-scientific-papers-on-steem

Wow! I owe you one for that. I just checked Pevo out and it is definitely what I'm talking about. I'm going back there now to dig into it deeper. I have some people who might be interested in Pevo. Thanks again. 。◕‿◕。
