Ali Sulayman al-Assad (علي سليمان الأ) was one of the most hardcore Zionists in the Arab world prior the creation of the State of Israel yet this fact is almost never mentioned in the Alternative Media but that should not be surprising as most people have become cheerleaders for the Assad regime as it helps them get more people to donate to their patreon while they continue to believe and tell others that their reporting is not clouded by money.
The Assad regime were not saints nor were they people who cared so deeply about the Palestinian cause as some in the Alt Media portrays Assad to be.
Assad was said to be kind to the Palestinians by giving them equal status in Syria which sounds nice at first but once examined closely it is obvious that Assad seeks to diminish the Palestinian identity by incentivising Palestinians to abandon their homeland and live in Syria.
If Assad was truly against the Zionist regime,why is it that he arbitrarily ordered the Syrian Army to retreat when they were about to liberate Palestine from the Zionist occupiers?

Because Bashar Al Assad is not the savior of the Middle East. He works for Putin and Putin works for Israel so it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out who controls Assad.
