POOR THERESA MAY…steemCreated with Sketch.

When I was watching Theresa May give her speech and announcing that she will form a “government of certainty” with the Democratic Unionist Party I couldn’t help but feel a little bit sorry for her. She looked exhausted and devastated and not that pretend devastated that politicians are good at acting but genuinely devastated and drained.

And she is still talking about a “government of certainty” If I was Theresa May I would quit now, if she is not careful the future could be dark for Theresa May. I’m starting to vision fifteen years in the future Theresa May in a padded room at a lunatic asylum muttering to herself “strong and stable, strong and stable, strong and stable” and “government of certainty” “a strong and stable government of certainty” while sitting in her on own feces.

Before we feel too sorry for Theresa May we should consider what would have happened if she would have had a good result and won by the landslide that polls and media were predicting. Her smug face with a look that says “now, you’re mine” she would have started dementia tax, cut benefits and public services all to help even larger reductions in corporate tax and wars in the so called War on Terror would escalate even more than it has over the last seven years of the Conservatives being in power.

I found the interview with Theresa May directly after the election results funny but also a bit sad. She looks angry, sad and helpless all at the same time.

Hope you don't mind another comment buddy but for me nothing has changed in our country over the last few days other than the fact that some of us have been fooled into believing that the system actually works and that we can affect it. Those who wield the true power in this country and around the world know well that their dominance of us depends entirely on their walking a fine line between allowing us too much time to think and being overtly oppressive so it serves their purposes to put on a show every now and again to make us feel like we are the ones making the decisions.

Anyone who believes they can make a difference by using the system that is designed to enslave them in order to gain freedom is surely ignorant to the true ways of the world and thus a danger to those they say they want to protect.
Other question that some might like to consider are 'who is the man in the photo with Theresa May> What is his relationship to her? And does that relationship in any way influence the decisions that Theresa May makes as Prime Minister? Not that I personally believe that Theresa May has made a single decision of her own in the time she has 'led' our country.

I get that you are angry at the state our country and our world is in buddy but in my humble opinion I wouldn't look to any politician or wannabe leader to solve the problems we have. We need to take responsibility for the mistakes we have made in allowing these people to subvert our entire lives and we need to start doing what we think is best rather than allowing selfish men and women to decide the futures of ourselves and our children.

Cheers buddy. hope you are having a good day! :)

I agree with what you say but the election results do change one thing everything she does she does without the consent of the people, she has not been elected by the people and the people did not chose her.

I would be interested to know how many 'people' actually voted in the election. I have done a quick search on google and can't come up with an actual number. There are plenty of references to the 75% turnout or whatever the actual figure was but this represents only registered voters, not eligible voters. According to sources I just looked at on google the eligible voters numbered 46.8 million. Can you terll me how many of these were registered voters? And just because some of us decide to play the masters game does that mean that those of us who have no interest in these games but would rather be living peaceful lives must abide by the outcome and suffer the consequences of these games. And whoever takes part in the whole process and casts their vote has no right to complain when the result comes in because you played your part and took your chance and lost so you should accept your fate!

Sorry if that was a bit angry sounding buddy but I get worked up about this stuff. I feel that I am being forced to live in a society that I did not choose and have no desire to see propagated any further. I would ask anyone who voted in the election if you believe I have the right to ignore the rest of you and live my life as I think best?

Cheers buddy!

I am far from satisfied with the system as well shit I spent the last 7 years telling people not to vote. But Jeremy Corbyn being where he is was not part of their plans I don't think he got to be leader on 36 votes (if I remember right) after a series of potential leaders dropping out.

I respect your opinion and agree with you that the system and the voting system is a farce I can not defend it.

I respect your feelings on the subject too @wolvoman80 and see that you are very passionate! I hope we can talk more in future my friend!

Hope your day is going well!
