Poloniex Insolvent? Move your coins out now

in poloniex •  7 years ago  (edited)

The coin telegraph is reporting insolvency rumors in a story just published within the last 4 hours.

While it is lacking actual substance and detail, the facts do remain that Poloniex is an absolute shocker when responding to support tickets and providing even the most basic customer experience.

I personally have experienced a 2 week period of "lost" coins after a transaction showed my coins had been successfully withdrawn but did not actually land in my wallet. Logging support tickets got absolutely zero response and I was ignored for the entire 2 weeks until finally they rectified the issue but still did not bother to respond to the ticket.

As I was searching for answers I was amazed at the amount of people that were in the same boat with substantial amounts of coins that were missing.

Serves as a good reminder to never leave coins on an exchange in particularly exchanges which don't seem to have the funding to staff to the needs of the community they are serving.

How about you guys? Anyone else currently having issues?

i don't think poloniex is going to be insolvent.
support is just very slow because of the flood of new traders

i have a ticket open for about 4 months now..

flood of new traders should equal more money. More money should be allocated to support tickets

Support may be slow, but the fact that they continually disable wallets should be taken into consideration when using the exchange. I would absolutely NOT keep assets on this exchange long term.
