For this week's Power Of Positivity contest hosted by @karenmckersie I would like to talk about my idea of the #CreativeWintertime initiative.
It's all about creating a tutorial collection containing crafts tutorials from the creative Steemians related to the theme Wintertime (Winter, Christmas, New year, Cold, Snow, ...)
Here are the 5 main reasons that motivated me to launch the #CreativeWintertime :
- Bring creative people together / Community
- Share similar content and make it more visible
- Exchanging winterish creative ideas enabling more people to create a cosy winter atmosphere at home
- Learn from each other
- Bring forward also posts older than 1 week, which have qualitative tutorials
ANYONE CAN JOIN!
If you want to help us make this collection grow, just add #creativewintertime to your tags when publishing a tutorial related to the theme Wintertime.
I reguarly create a cumulative recap post, with the objective of having all these tutorials (also the older then 1 week) easily accessible. So that if someone looks for a winter craft, he can find them all in these recap posts.
Since the initiative has been launched almost 1 month ago, 6 different creative Steemians published already 21 tutorials in total!

I made these Jade Tree Terrariums as Christmas Gifts a few years ago.
